Payment for day trips is due upon receipt of the invoice. Payments are non-refundable unless the trip is canceled by the operator (David W. Shaw/Wild Imagination Photography). There is no cost to change the dates of your trip (but depends on availability).

Multi-Day Trips

A deposit is due at the time of booking to hold your place, the amount of which varies based on the cost of the trip. The deposit is non-refundable. The number and due dates of remaining payments vary by trip. First payments are generally due  30 days after registration and the final payment is due 30 to 60 days prior to departure.

Custom trips priced over $2500/person have negotiable payment schedules.

Once payments are made for scheduled workshops and tours, they are non-refundable. Custom workshops and tours may have a portion of the trip refundable. If you are scheduling a custom tour, please contact me for refund details.

A full refund will be provided if the workshop/tour is canceled by the operator, David W. Shaw/Wild Imagination Photography (see below).

Cancellations

David W. Shaw/Wild Imagination Photography retains the right to cancel a trip up to 60 days prior to departure. In such a case, all deposits and payments will be refunded. However, David W. Shaw/Wild Imagination Tours bears no responsibility for additional costs associated with the tour (such as airfare) that may have been incurred by the participant. To avoid such expenses, I STRONGLY recommend travel insurance (see below) that will cover your costs in case of a cancellation, or you are unable to make the trip.

Credit Card Processing Fee

A 3-5% fee (depending on your location) will be applied to all credit/debit card payments (does not apply to deposits of $500 or less). Payments may be made by check to avoid the fee.

Liability

All participants are required to sign this Liability Release prior to taking part in any tour.

Travel Insurance

I strongly encourage all participants to acquire trip cancellation insurance which will cover the costs of the trip in case a personal emergency or conflict prevents you from attending. Insurance that includes medical evacuation and trip cancellation is REQUIRED for all international tours.
